Dr. Sujash Bhattacharya is an accomplished academician, administrator, and educator with over 26 years of experience across schools, universities, and civil service roles. He holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Calcutta (2007), with a thesis exploring identity in the works of Salman Rushdie, Amitav Ghosh, and Bharati Mukherjee. His academic journey includes an MEd in TESOL from the University of Edinburgh (2005), an MA in English Literature (1996), and a BA in English Literature (1994) from the University of Calcutta.

With extensive leadership experience, Dr. Bhattacharya has served as the Principal of prestigious institutions such as ITM Global School, Gwalior, and Delhi World Public School (Malda & Cooch Behar). His tenure in higher education includes roles as Head of Department at Northern Border University, Saudi Arabia, and Assistant Professor at Tripoli University, Libya. He has also contributed to school administration as a House Master and Dean at The Indian Public School, Dehradun. Beyond academia, he has worked in civil administration as a Grade I Officer in the Scottish Executive (Registers of Scotland, UK) and in corporate management with Marks & Spencer, Edinburgh. His contributions to education are further highlighted by multiple awards, including the Fethi Azaiez-Stanley Ndeke Memorial Prize at the University of Edinburgh and a Gold Medal for creative writing at the University of Calcutta.
